What is the difference between a Basic and Premium subscription?

With a Basic subscription, you may place up to 3 ads and 3 job listings at no charge. Ads and job listings will appear for 1 week in their pertinent category. You may also add up to 3 events with current or future date.

With a Premium subscription, you will be able to place unlimited ads, job listings, and events. Ads and job listings will appear on the home page as a random ad/listing and in addition in their pertinent category throughout the subscription period. You may also optionally setup to receive online payment of your classified ads via your own PayPal/Venmo account.

How much does a Premium subscription cost? And how is it paid?

There is a $9.99 / month cost for the Premium subscription. This is paid via Paypal. We do NOT collect any personal or financial information. During the signup/upgrade process, you will receive instructions and a link to Paypal to setup your subscription. The subscription is on a month to month basis and you may cancel at any time.

What happens when I signup via Facebook?

If you choose to signup via Facebook, upon clicking "Continue with Facebook", you will be notified that RGVPortal will receive your name, profile picture, and email from Facebook. You can choose at that point either to continue or cancel. If continuing, you will then be redirected to your RGVPortal profile page where additional information will be requested.

How can I revoke my membership via Facebook?

In your profile page, you have an option to send a revoke request to Facebook. The following will occur:

• Your information will be deleted from our database
• A revoke request will be sent to Facebook
• You will be logged out of RGVPortal
• A final confirmation email will be sent to you of the action taken

Note: If you have a monthly paid subscription, the current charged month cannot be refunded.
